Citizens may request a translation of a public document produced by an executive agency of the State of Florida into plain language. Examples covered by the Plain Language Initiative include annual reports, permit applications, license applications, letters from executive agencies, invoices, and etc. involving services and programs regulated by those agencies. This does not include interpretations of state statutes, local rules and ordinances, court documents, case law, federal rules and law, or any administrative document not produced under the authority of a state agency.
